The ClassPad has several applications ranging from algebra to spreadsheets to geometry applications. It should be noted that the original ClassPad had a very low-contrast display that is also not illuminated.

Low-fatigue work is only possible, if at all, under very good lighting conditions. The protective film that comes with the device also reduces the contrast. With a good film you can at least avoid this.

At least until TI comes out with a nice touch screen themselves, and only because it's familiar. Casio still makes a really solid calculator, they just need a little work on user-friendliness. Pros: there are so many reasons to get this calculator instead of any TI. Bigger screen, more advanced processor than most calcs, much easier to navigate operating system, plus all of the features it includes. They are all much easier to access in the Classpad.

I installed many games for when I'm bored. Cons: Sometimes figuring out what I need to enter for some of the more advanced functions is hard.
