Downloaded the file on my Mac, but opening the VersionUp app causes nothing to happen at all - a tiny glimmer in the dock and then it disappears. So I downloaded the. Jay, Where is the nearest Sony location to us? What have you used in the past. Ted, it's my understanding the we'd use the facility in New Jersy. I haven't needed any service since I switched to the EX3. In theory, a solid state camera should require far less maintenance than the analogy cameras--heads, tape transports, caspins, etc.

In the Relay mode, the camera switches from Card A to Card B to continue the recording, but it shows a fast flashing icon A with a line through it in the middle of the screen that continues to flash while continuing to record, which is very annoying.

I thought that if I stopped the recording or turned off the camera and back on again, the icon would go away, but it does not. Apparently, the only way to remove it is to replace the memory card in Slot A with a new one. There is also a warning that comes up on the screen stating that Card A is full and can no longer accept new media. I'm a previous EX3 owner and operator that had dual memory card slots and this "bug" never came up, with either a fast flashing icon or a warning message.

When manually setting either White Balance A or B, you can ony see the Kelvin setting on the screen for approximately 3 seconds and then it goes off. There is no way to reference the Kelvin number setting, unless you remember it or note it on your phone or write it down on paper.

With previous cameras l've used like the EX3, when you manually set a White Balance value, the Kelvin setting number will be on the screen for quick reference.
